Where the Heart Is…
Statuary urns are statues that also function as cremation urns. They are often cast from original pieces of artwork using premium materials. Statuary cremation urns are designed to offer safe a place keep the ashes, or cremated remains, of a deceased loved one or friend, and also blend in naturally and discreetly with regular home décor. After all, it is said that home is where the heart is.
Made from the Art of Resin Casting
Cold Cast resin casting is a method of plastic casting where a mold is filled with a liquid synthetic resin which then hardens. Since cast resin cremation urns require some amount of hands-on labor, the result is a beautiful, strong, and unique piece of art. This method is called "cold" casting because no heat is used in the casting process; the resin cures at normal room temperatures.
Because many statuary urns are painstakingly crafted down to the last intricate detail, they are intended to be kept at home. However, this urn can also be entombed in a cemetery columbarium niche, or buried in an earth grave. Please note some cemetery regulations may require that this urn be placed inside of an urn vault prior to earth burial.
